Broken Tooth Root Still in Gum: Bad Breath Remedies
Have you ever wondered how does a tooth root remain in gum tissue? If you have, you are not alone. Millions of people suffer from the painful disease of periodontitis and some of them can’t seem to break a tooth root or remove an infected tooth. When you know what the root causes, you may be able to prevent future infections.
The root of your teeth is actually made up of the bone and the gum tissue that surround it. Once you have a tooth, the root continues to grow until the gums become brittle. It can then break off and fall out. There are several reasons why a tooth may break off. When it does, the bone and the gums continue to grow and there is an open sore where the tooth used to sit. When the tooth has fallen out, the gum tissue can get infected and lead to periodontal disease.
Periodontal disease is characterized by pockets of bacteria and disease in the gums. This infection makes the gums more sensitive to foods and medications. In a matter of weeks, periodontal disease can cause the teeth to turn yellow and begin to lose their enamel and look very unhealthy.
The teeth need to be removed in order to treat periodontal disease. Even if the tooth is not broken, it is still very important to treat the gum tissue with an antibacterial mouthwash. A doctor may recommend antibiotics to kill the bacteria.
Before you see your dentist, there are several things you can do at home. Avoid taking antibiotics or any other medications until the root of the tooth has been treated. If the root has not been treated, antibiotics will just kill the bacteria and not kill the root. Use a good toothpaste. If the tooth has become infected, use an antibiotic to kill the bacteria and to treat the infection.
Toothpastes containing Fluconazole can be used to treat the infection. These are a type of antibiotic, and they can kill the bacteria that causes the infection as well. After using a fluoride toothpaste to treat the infection, take the tooth out for about two hours so that it can heal completely. If the tooth heals, the tooth should be cleaned thoroughly before using a toothbrush.
The toothpaste should only be used on the infected tooth and not on any other areas of the teeth. After applying toothpaste to the infected area, use floss to clean the surrounding teeth.
By following a good oral hygiene regimen and avoiding bacteria-fighting products and medications, the infection of periodontal disease can be controlled and your teeth will look and feel healthy again. Be sure to follow the directions on the toothpaste and floss to prevent recurrence. If you take care of your teeth and gums, you can rest easy knowing that you are taking care of yourself. A toothbrush and a good oral hygiene routine can help to keep your teeth healthy.
If you have a dental cleaning and treatment, including an oral hygiene program, you may want to follow up with that first. Regularly cleaning your teeth will prevent your teeth from being affected by cavities. You may also notice that your breath smells better and it feels better too.
